Wilderness Cabins

An outpost camp means no road access. In other words, all building materials were either harvested from the nearby forest and lake, milled on-site, brought in by boat or over the winter ice. This means traditional building techniques with log and stone built on posts, the way it was done a hundred years ago. When staying at Two Moon Point one goes back to a simpler time: it's wilderness living close to nature, generating our own solar power, heating with wood and eating what we catch. All cabins feature hot and cold running water, private shower, propane stove, oven and refrigerator and electric lights. Cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, glassware are provided. Outside the cabin there is a gas grill BBQ. Each cabin has its own private dock and strategically positioned outdoor chairs--a perfect place to wind down and watch the fabulous Lake Kipawa sunset.
